From I-580:
Westbound in Castro Valley, take the Castro Valley exit and turn left at Castro Valley Boulevard. At Redwood Road, turn right.
Eastbound, take the Redwood Road exit and turn left at Redwood.

Stay on Redwood Rd, pass the golf course, Proctor Staging Area, and Marciel Gate. Farther along Redwood Road you will find Bort Meadow Staging Area on the left. It's quite a ways, don't give up! Look for signs!

Highway 13:
Take the Joaquin Miller exit, proceed uphill, and along Skyline Boulevard 2 miles to Redwood Road. At Redwood Road, turn left. The entrance to Bort Meadow Staging Area is approx 6 miles on the right. Look for signs!
(Note: Taking Redwood Road from highway 13 is NOT RECOMMENDED for trailers as it is very steep up to Skyline Blvd.)

Enter through gate (if the gate is unattended you will need the combination to enter) and proceed down the entrance road. Turn right at bottom and follow into the meadow. Swing wide at the next turn to stay in the middle of the creek crossing. Please follow the directional signs and go slowly as you will be traveling on a one-way road in the park.
